Ms. Rainey provides psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children, teens, and adults. She offers psychological testing in Cary for a variety of developmental and mental health concerns.

Education and Experience

Ms. Rainey holds a B.A. in Psychology, an M.S. in School Psychology, and an Ed.S. from California University of Pennsylvania. She earned her license as a Psychological Associate in 1999. With over three decades of experience, Ms. Rainey dedicated 1.5 years to Durham Public Schools and over 30 years to Wake County Public Schools. Throughout her career, she has provided psychological services in both school and private practice settings, working with children and adults. She has worked in elementary, middle, and high schools, served on a variety of committees, and has a broad understanding of the special education process in schools. She has experience evaluating Specific Learning Disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Ms. Rainey is an active member of both the National Association of School Psychologists and the North Carolina Association of School Psychologists.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Rainey enjoys reading, gaming, aerobics, kickboxing, and traveling. She also cherishes time spent with her cat, family, and friends.
