Ms. Murray-Dedmond provides psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children, teens, and adults. She offers psychological testing in Cary for a variety of developmental and mental health concerns. One needed specialty she brings to Etheridge Psychology is autism testing for children and teens.

Education and Experience
Ms. Murray-Dedmond graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Psychology in 1984 and an M.Ed. in School Psychology in 1986. She obtained her license as a Psychological Associate and Health Services Provider in 1989. She worked for the public schools as a psychologist for over 20 years and has extensive experience with psychological assessment for students of all ages as well as an in-depth understanding of school procedures and requirements. Her specialties were Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Ms. Dedmond spent the last 5 years of her public school career as a district administrator where she oversaw the mental health of the district and was a fierce advocate for students of color and LGBTQ+ youth.

Ms. Murray-Dedmond is a member of the American Psychological Association, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the North Carolina Association of School Psychologists.
